Tomato San Marzano 2 da Pelati (106-2740)

Sais Sementi’s San Marzano features cylindrical, plum-type fruit. This is a healthy vigorous plant with full growth and good leaf cover. The solid, cylindrical, elongated fruits are of medium weight with a green “shoulder” and have high resistance to splitting and to apical rot. When fully ripe the fruits are bright red with firm flesh and very small core. A mid to late variety, this variety is suitable both for canning and for home use.
